Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of EcommOS, a service provided by Applied Significance Technologies Limited. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Last updated: 29 July 2026
1. The service
EcommOS provides tools for ecommerce operations, including order capture and management, products and offers, staff workflows, inventory, delivery, remittance, accounting, notifications, hosted forms, webhooks, and connected sales channels.
We may improve, change, add, or remove features over time. Features described as preview, beta, early access, or coming soon may be incomplete and may change or be withdrawn.
2. Accounts and authority
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for protecting login credentials and activity under your account.
- If you create or administer an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for it and to invite staff or connect third-party accounts.
- Organization owners and administrators control staff roles, permissions, products, and access to customer and operational information.
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Customer data and privacy
You retain your rights in information that you or your users submit to EcommOS. You authorize us to host, process, transmit, and display that information as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
You are responsible for:
- Providing legally required notices and obtaining any required consent.
- Ensuring that your collection and use of customer, order, staff, and lead information is lawful.
- Responding to requests from your customers concerning their information.
- Configuring staff permissions appropriately and limiting access to people who need the information.
- Avoiding sensitive or prohibited information unless its collection is lawful, necessary, and expressly supported by EcommOS and the relevant connected platform.
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Third-party services and integrations
You may authorize EcommOS to connect with third-party services such as TikTok, form providers, email providers, or webhook sources. You authorize us to exchange information with those services as necessary to perform the actions you configure.
Your use of a third-party service remains subject to that provider's terms, permissions, policies, availability, and review decisions. EcommOS does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their suspension, modification, errors, or data practices. Disconnecting a service stops future authorized access where supported, but does not automatically delete information already imported into EcommOS.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use EcommOS to:
- Violate law, regulation, platform rules, or another person's rights.
- Send unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or unsolicited communications.
- Collect prohibited, unnecessary, or unlawfully obtained personal information.
- Attempt to bypass access controls, probe vulnerabilities, or disrupt the service.
- Upload malware or use automated activity that unreasonably burdens the service.
- Resell, copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the service except where law expressly permits it.
- Misrepresent your identity, organization, products, orders, or relationship with a third party.
6. Fees and payment
Paid plans, included features, and applicable fees are shown at purchase or agreed with you. Fees are due according to the billing terms presented for your plan and are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
We may change pricing or plan limits with reasonable notice. Promotional trials or credits may have additional conditions and may be changed or withdrawn for future customers.
7. Intellectual property and feedback
EcommOS, its software, branding, designs, documentation, and underlying technology are owned by Applied Significance Technologies Limited or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your authorized subscription or access period.
If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment, provided that we do not publicly identify you as its source without permission.
8. Availability, support, and security
We work to keep EcommOS available and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, internet failures, third-party outages, security events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect the service.
Support channels and response times may vary by plan and issue severity. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate exports, records, and business-continuity procedures for information critical to your operations.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using EcommOS at any time. You may request organization or account deletion by following our data deletion instructions.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the service in a way that could harm EcommOS, our providers, or others. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EcommOS is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and warranties arising from course of dealing. EcommOS is an operations tool and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, or professional advice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Applied Significance Technologies Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or data.
Our aggregate liability arising from the service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to EcommOS for the service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting formal proceedings, each party agrees to make a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute by written notice and good-faith discussion. Subject to applicable law, the courts of Nigeria will have jurisdiction.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or by email where appropriate. Continuing to use EcommOS after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to hello@ecommos.co or through our contact page.
