# Manage delivery agents

**Agents** is your roster of delivery agents and logistics partners — who they are, where they cover, how much stock they're holding, and how they've performed. It's different from **Deliveries**, which is the live board tracking individual dispatched orders. Agents is the directory; Deliveries is the day-to-day work.

## Add a delivery agent

1. Go to **Agents**.
2. Click **Add agent**.
3. Enter their name, country, and the states or areas they cover.
4. Save.

You'll pick from this list whenever you dispatch an order or transfer stock.

## What you'll see per agent

* **Overview** — identity and coverage areas.
* **Stock held** — how many units of each product currently sit with them.
* **Performance** — delivery rate, outcomes by product and area, and recent deliveries.
* **Activity** — a history of stock transfers to and from them.

Most of this is calculated live from your orders and inventory — it updates automatically as deliveries happen, you don't maintain it by hand.

## Coverage and status

An agent needs at least one coverage area and some assigned stock to be useful for dispatch. If an agent shows **Needs attention**, it usually means one of those is missing — check their coverage areas or stock before you route orders to them.

## Disabling an agent

If you stop working with an agent, disable them rather than deleting — this keeps their delivery history intact for reporting. You can reactivate them later if you start working together again.
